Depression is a silent disease that can destroy a person's life on many levels of it.
The person becomes a creature fearful, anxious, helpless, alters his life, leaving you that no have sense the life, and causing you much suffering.
Also suffers disability and alterations both emotional and mental, become till suicide.
The presenting symptoms are:
feelings of sadness or hopelessness, loss of interest and inability to experience pleasure, increased or decreased appetite (anorexia),
insomnia or too much sleep (hypersomnia),
fatigue or low energy, low self esteem,
recurrent thoughts of death or suicide, feeling of sadness or hopelessness, loss of interest and inability to experience pleasure, gain or loss of appetite (anorexia), insomnia or too much sleep (hypersomnia),fatigue or low energy, low self-esteem, recurrent thoughts of death or suicide, a sense of worthlessness or disability,
poor concentration, feeling of guilt, persistent fear of what or why,
loss of sense of life.
There are three types of depression according to their origin and dimensions of each person.
A-Endogenous (within oneself) or organic:
physical dimension of biological origin. Responds to treatment with antidepressants.
B-Reactive:
psychological and psychosocial dimensions of psychological origin.
You feel sad, for example:
loss of a loved one, loss of work (social).
C-Spiritual, the most common are the spiritual dissatisfaction. Not respond to medication but to discover the meaning of life.
In depression, the person experiences spiritual breakdown and disconnection with the inner values and events, circumstances, people and situations.
It displays future plans or responses. No tomorrow. You feel pessimistic.
For this is called repression of the future, of what can happen.
Close the future there is a marked existential vacuum, characterized by ennui or boredom manifest.
There may be depression of the call Sunday afternoon. The causes of the lack of meaning in life are:
a-Bankruptcy dialogue, there is a being , a partner, a person who listens, a link, an encounter.
b-Physical distress. Very strong.
c-Lack of confidence. Skeptical, lack of faith, not believed.
d-Existential frustration. Goals that are not achieved. Conflicts of conscience. What we do and we can not, emerging feelings of guilt and inferiority.
All dimensions of the person can get sick, feelings, intellect but
the person with spiritual development never gets sick.
In depression there are two possible positions;
distance or identify with the disease.
Who identifies with the disease is delivered to it and feel bad, guilty, unworthy.
You will need:
Ask for help, you only can not find the way, you needs someone who listen without judging and who can trust.
Find the sense, but this alone is not enough.
To discover the meaning of life we must first recognize, accept and something very important:
We must love oneself, protect oneself, take care of oneself, be good to oneself, humanize oneself, make oneself all the best possible..
We must orient ourselves. It is not the same saying:
"life is not worth anything" or "I am not worthless".
There is a devaluation of the person
(by their mental outlook and by the " I shoulds", and not the events,
Therefore in this quest we must repeat this phrase:
"The sense is found, not sought.".
"It is very important change in attitude, not only to accept but love oneself.
Ultimately, the spiritual depression is equal to "let oneself loving."
Questions for you and your personal work:
1 - Can you discover or identify the cause of his sadness?
2- Are you doing anything to find the meaning of life?
3-Do you really want to take the best route out of depression although be hard?
4-Is it difficult for you to relate to others, at home, work, neighbors?
5-Do you know that besides going to the doctor, it is good to have a spiritual life?
6-Do you know that if you ask for help of those around you and let help you, can end the depression that you suffer?
7-Do you know that prayer is powerful and you will help a lot with your problem?
8-Do not let going to the doctor, let other help you, love yourself a lot, help yourself that God will help.
Ask God's help that God heals´s everything

Depression can lead astray from alcohol to suicide. It is therefore necessary to seek urgent medical help and spiritual help.

Day July 13, 1917
Moments after arriving at Cova da Iria, a crowd of people were praying the rosary, we saw as usual the blaze of the bright light and, then, to our Lady on the bush.
What do you want from me? I asked.
"I want you to come here on the 13th of next month, continue praying the rosary every day, in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary for world peace and the end of war, because only with the rosary it can getting".
"I wanted to ask you to tell us who you are, make a miracle so that everyone believes that you are appearing to us.
"Continue to come here every month. In October I will tell you who I am and what I want and I'll do a miracle for all to see and believe."
Here I made some requests to not remember what they were.
What I do remember is that Our Lady said it was necessary to pray the rosary everyday to meet these requests during the year.
She continued:
-"Sacrifice for sinners and say many times, especially when you make a sacrifice."
O Jesus is by your love, for the conversion of sinners and in reparation for sins committed against the Inmaculate Heart of Mary"
"By saying these words, opened his hands again as in past months.
The reflection seemed to penetrate into the ground and saw a sea of fire.
Plunged in this fire were demons and souls, as if they were transparent burning embers, black or bronze, which fluctuated in human form in the fire, carried the flames that issued from within themselves together with clouds of smoke falling on all sides, similar to the fall of sparks in huge fires, without weight or balance, amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear.
(Must have been the sight of this when I gave that "Ah," they say have heard).
The Devils could distinguish by their terrifying and repulsive frightful and unknown animals, but transparent as coals on.
Scared to ask for help, got up, looked up at Our Lady told us between kind and said:
-"You have seen hell, where going to stop the souls of poor sinners, God want to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart.
If you do what I say, will be saved many souls and will have peace.
The war will end. But if not cease offending God, in the reign of Pius XI , it will start a worse one.
When you see at night illuminated by an unknown light (a fact that happened the night of 25 to 26 January 1938), know that is the great sign that God gives for punish to the world for its crimes by means of war , famine and persecutions to the Church and the Holy Father.
To prevent this, I come to ask the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart".
(This is requested for Sister Lucia in Tuy, Spain in June 1929), and the communion of reparation on the first Saturday (in an appearance requested by Sister Lucia in Pontevedra, Spain in December 1925).
"If they meet my demands, Russia will be converted and there was peace, but will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church.
The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated.
Finally, "My Immaculate Heart will triumph."
"The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, that it will be converted and will be awarded to the world a peacetime.
Portugal always be kept in the doctrine of the faith, etc.
This does not tell anyone. To Francisco you can say it.
When you pray the rosary,
will say after each mystery:
"Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, leading to Heaven and to all souls, especially those in most need of thy mercy."
After a pause i asked:
What more do you want from me?
"Today I want nothing more from you"
And, as always, began to climb towards the west and disappeared into the vast remoteness of the sky.
Insistence of the Blessed Virgin to pray the Rosary every day.
On 19 August 1917.
We were grazing, accompanied by Francisco and his brother John in a place called Valiño, and feeling that something supernatural approached and surrounded us, suspecting that Our Lady came to appear to us, and gave me grief that Jacinta could not see the Virgin, we ask his brother John who was to call her.
Not wanting to go, I offered twenty cents, and off he ran.
Meanwhile Francisco saw the light reflection we called lightning, and Jacinta had reached a moment later, we saw Our Lady on the pine.
What do you want from me?.
"I want you to continue going to the Cova da Iria on the 13th and to continue praying the rosary every day.
Last month, in October, will make a miracle for everyone to believe".
(On August 13 the children were in prison.)
If they would have not led them the children to the Village of Ouren, the miracle would have been more impressive.
It would have appeared St. Joseph with the Infant Jesus to give peace to the world. Our Lord would have come to bless the people.
It would have come Our Lady of the Rosary with an angel on each side.
It would have appeared Our Lady of sorrows with an arch of flowers around her.
The Blessed Virgin urges children once more to prayer and mortification, and putting her a more sad face adds:
"Pray!, pray much! and make many sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to hell for not having one to sacrifice and pray for them."
And as usual began to rise toward the rising sun.
September 13, 1917.
Approaching the hour, we went to the Cova da Iria with Jacinta and Francisco, among many people who just let us go.
The roads were crowded with people. Everyboy wanted to see us and talk to us.
We attended each person equally.
We, arrived finally to Cova da Iria, near the pine tree and began to pray the rosary, with the people.
Soon after, we saw the reflection of light, and then to Our Lady on the oak.
"Continue to pray the rosary, to reach the end of the war.
In October Our Lord will also come, Our Lady of Sorrows and the Carmen and San Jose with the Child Jesus to bless the world.
God is pleased with your sacrifices but do not want you to go to sleep with the rope tied to the body, only use it during the day".
(Children punished their body by tying a rope and they offered for the conversion of sinners)
I have many requests to make. Will you respond to request?
Cure some patients, a deaf mute.
"Yes, some, not others. In October I will make a miracle for everyone to believe".
And started to getting up, disappeared as usual.
The Great Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima.
October 13, 1917.
We left home quite early, with the delays of the road.
The town was anxious. Torrential rain fell.
My mother, fearing that it was the last day of my life, with broken hearted and the uncertainty of what would happen, she wanted to accompany me.
At the Cova da Iria, near the pine, transported by an internal movement, I told the people, and shut their umbrellas to pray the rosary.
Soon after, we saw the reflection of light , and then to Our Lady on the oak.
-What do you want from me?
"I do want to tell you to make a chapel here in my honor, "I am Our Lady of the Rosary", and I want you to continue praying the Rosary everyday.
The war will end. And the soldiers will return to their homes soon".
I have many requests, says Lucia. Want to meet them or not?
"Yes,some, some do not.
"It is need repent and ask forgiveness for their sins.".
And taking a very sad look continues the Blessed Virgin;
¡Cease to offend God Our Lord, who is already quite a lot offended!
Virgin opens his hands to make them reflect the brilliance of the sun and it rises, its light is constantly and is projected into the luminous disk.
Lucia screamed to the crowd: it´s coming, it´s coming, look, there ...! Look at the sun!
The crowd, more than 70,000 people, soaked by rain all night and all day, look at it from the mud toward to the sun.
The children sees close to sun:
to Saint Joseph dressed in white who emerges from among the cloud letting see his chest.
with her left arm holds the Child Jesus, full body and dressed in red.
With his right arm blesses three times to the crowd.
Our Lady is on the right of the sun, full body, dressed in white with a blue cloak that covers her head and falls loose.
Vanished this apparition takes place another.
Jesus, on the right side of the sun dressed in red and the Virgin with the features of Our Lady of Sorrows, dressed in pink, but no sword in the chest.
Jesus blesses the people.
Once this vision is finished,
Lucia saw the Virgin with the characteristics of Our Lady of Mount Caramel and let dropping "something" of his right hand.
In the meantime the crowd saw, admired and horrified, another spectacle,
the sun like a huge ball of fire by turning "crazy" in the sky and seems falling down above earth.
were ten minutes, lived as an eternity ...
Everything finished, was almost dark, the faces of the people appeared painted yellow ...
Among the few tears of joy of some and repentance of others, all could see that the clothes, shoes, the earth had dried.
The Virgin had been kept her promise and hoped, from now on, that her sons respond to his requests.

In the spring of 1916 and being in the countryside Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia, and after tea and started praying to see some distance above the trees, a light whiter than snow, pierced by the rays of the sun, with the form of a young man of extraordinary beauty.
We were surprised of what we saw. And he approached to us and said:
-Fear not! I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me!.

Then he disappeared.
Then in midsummer the naptime, while we seated under a tree, suddenly, we saw the same Angel with us.
-"What are you doing? Pray!, Pray!
The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you.
Consistently offer prayers and sacrifices".
How are we to sacrifice us? I asked.
"From everything you can, offer a sacrifice, an act of reparation for the sins by which God is offended and in supplication for the conversion of sinners.
Thus, will attract peace upon your country.
I am the Angel of guardian, the Angel of Portugal.
Above all, accept and bear humbly the suffering that the Lord will send you".
The third appearance of the Angel was in October.
We prayed the rosary and prayer that we had taught at the first occurrence.
Suddenly an angel appeared again, carrying in his hand a chalice, and on a Host, which fell into the Chalice, a few drops of blood.
Leaving the chalice and the Host suspended in the air and fell to the ground and repeated the prayer three times:
-"Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you profoundly and I offer the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrilege and indifferences with Himself is offended.
And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of sinners".
Then, rising, took the Chalice and the Host, and gave the Host to Lucia, and what was in the Chalice, gave to drink Jacinta and Francisco, saying at the same time:
-"Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men. Repair your crimes and console your God".
Again fell to the ground and repeated with us three times the same prayer:
-"Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you profoundly and I offer the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, ... etc.
Then he disappeared.
Apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary on May 13.
Jacinta and Francisco were playing up the slope of the Cova da Iria, we suddenly saw, like a lightnig. We went home because there was a storm, and when people came down the slope by half, very close to a big top, we saw another flash.
By making a few steps forward, we saw a Lady on a bush, dressed all in white, brighter than the sun, radiating a light more clear and intense that a glass vase filled with clear water, crossed by the rays of the brighter sun.
We stopped in the apparition.
We are surprised by so close that we stayed within the light, that she radiated. Maybe five feet away or so.
Then Mary told us:
"Be not afraid. I am not going to hurt you."
Where are you?. I asked
"I'm from Heaven."
And what you want?
"I come to ask you to come here six straight months, on the 13th to this hour. Then I will tell you who I am, and what I want.
Then i will return here for a seventh time".
And I likewise will go to Heaven?.
"Yes you will go to Heaven".
And, Jacinta?
"She also will go."
And Francisco?
"He too, but he must to pray many rosaries".
Then I remembered to ask about two girls who had dead recently.
They were friends of mine and they went home and wove with my older sister.
-Ana de las Nieves is already in the Heaven?
"Yes it is".(He had eighteen years)
-And Amelia?
"She'll be in purgatory until the end of the world."(I think she was about eighteen years old.)
"Will you offer yourselves to God and accept all the sufferings He want to send, as an act of atonement for the sins by which He is offended and in supplication for the conversion of sinners?.
Have to suffer much, but the grace of God is your strength".
She pronounced these last words (grace God etc ...)
when she first opened hands and a light so intense that a reflex of she, was irradiated us, and it penetrated in our chest and in the deepest recesses of the soul.
Making us see, that God was the same light. Then an inner impulse, made us to fell our knees and we repeated intimately:
"O Holy Trinity, I adore you. God, my God, I love you in the Blessed Sacrament".
After the first time, Our Lady added:
"Pray the rosary every day for peace, for the world and the end of the war."
At once she began to rise gently, up toward the rising sun and untill she disappeared in the immensity of the distance.
The light that surrounded her was opening way in the vault of the stars, that is why, we said, that we had seen the heaven opened.
Insistence of the Blessed Virgin to pray the Rosary everyday
June 13, 1917.
After praying the rosary with Jacinta and Francisco, and some people who were there, we saw again the reflection of light approaching and we called lightning, and then our Lady above the bush, all the same as in May.
"What you want from me?I asked."
"I want you to come here on the 13th of next month, that pray the rosary every day and that you learn to read."
After i will say what i want to.
I asked for the healing of the sick.
"He will be healed if he is converted, he will heal during the year".
And then adds Lucia.
I wanted to ask you to take us to Heaven.
"Yes to Jacinta and Francisco i will take them soon.
But you Lucia will stay here a while longer.
Jesus wants to use you to let me know and love. He wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart, who he receive it, I promise salvation, and these souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by me to adorn His throne".
Then I'll stay here alone?. I asked sadly.
"No, my daughter. And you suffer much? Do not get discouraged.
I never leave you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the sure way which will lead you to Heaven."
It was at that moment he said these words when he opened the his hands and told us the second time, a reflection of that immense light.
In it we saw ourselves as immersed in God. Jacinta and Francisco seemed to be on the light that rose to heaven and I, in which spread over the earth.
In front of the palm of the right hand of Our Lady was a heart encircled by thorns which seemed to be fixed on him.
We realized it was the Immaculate Heart of Mary, outraged by the sins of mankind, which demanded reparation.
